Obituary of Lawrence "Buck" Tennyson Lawrence “Buck” Tennyson was born March 17, 1933, in Selmer, TN. To the late Sherman and Nannie Tennyson. Buck died July 13, 2026, in Park Falls, WI. He and his wife lived in Florence, Al. until the death of Patrica who died February 10, 2025, he then moved to Park Falls to close to his family. Buck was a member of Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church in Florence, he was a retired inspector for Sony Corp. and was a US Army veteran. Over the years, he enjoyed traveling, outdoors and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Tennyson; parents; his brothers, Charles “Chuck’ Tennyson, Everett Tennyson; sisters, Verdie Scarbrough, Bettye Sue Ray.

He is survived by his children Laura Tennyson, David Brian Shuck (Carol), Lori Ann Brown, Lisa Marie Brandt (Jim) and fifteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday September 20, 2026, at Oakdale Missionary Batist Church with family and friend gathering from 1:00 pm to service time.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held 11:00am on Monday at Corinth National Cemetery.
