Obituary of Flora Mae Price Flora Mae Price, 94, of Hollywood, California, formerly of Jasper, passed away peacefully September 7, 2026, at Sherman Oaks Hospital in California. Family will receive friends Friday, September 18, 2026, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 19, 2026, 11 a.m. at Airport Road Church of God of Prophecy. Pastor Leland Lowery will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Flora Mae was a dedicated member of Airport Road Church of God of Prophecy, where her natural talent touched the lives of many playing piano. She and her late husband, “Hop” Price owned Hop Price Motor Company as well as Olympia Health Spa in Jasper. She was named Jasper’s Business Woman of the Year for being an outstanding citizen and entrepreneur. She helped start many careers and dreams at John Casablanca’s Modeling and Career Center in Birmingham, AL. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit the most incredible destinations around the world with her daughter, Phoebe; doing things that people only dream of doing. Flora Mae was widely known in Hollywood and around the world. Once Flora Mae went to Hollywood, Phoebe dedicated her life to her mother’s happiness and care. During her years of illness, Phoebe lovingly cared for Flora Mae and was beside her daily.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Arnold “Hop” Price and son, Tony William Price.

She is survived by her daughters, Phoebe Denise Price and Rita Pilling; brother, Roland Vines; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; Phoebe’s beloved dog, Henry Arnold that Flora Mae loved so much; as well as a host of cousins and friends.
