Byron Heath “Tank” Cummings age 50, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born to Billy Ray Cummings, and Dorothy Lee Cummings on September 6, 1976. Tank was known for being a very kind and generous soul, touching all the lives he graced. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Nichols Funeral Home, in Haleyville, Alabama, where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026. Burial will take place at Thornhill Cemetery in Haleyville. Brother Jeff Whitten Will Officiate. He is survived by his sister, Annette Hulsey (Royce); brother, Rick Cummings; nephew, Brandon Cummings; special cousins, Jason Dooley, Jarred Dooley; and a host of other cousins.
