Rosie Waggoner age 74 of Murfreesboro passed away Saturday September 13, 2026 at her residence. She was born July 22, 1952 to her parents the late Clarence and Ethel Kelly Waggoner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by nieces, Greta Higgins and Jessica Turner; brother, Glen Waggoner. Ms. Rosie was affiliated with New West Point Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by sisters, Peggy Gillespie of Dallas, Texas, Judy Walker of Smithville and Rita (Mike) Koby of Smithville; brother, Ken Waggoner of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and burial will be held 11AM Wednesday September 16, 2026 at Whorton Springs Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. There will not be any visitation or services held at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses in memory of Ms. Rosie.
