Melvin Jerry Muse, 90, of Florence, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026, at his home. Mr. Muse was retired from the City of Florence. He was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11-12 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Muse was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Clara Belle Muse; sisters, Ruby Montgomery and Barbara Brown; brothers, Fred Muse and William Muse.
He is survived by his sons, David Muse (Martha), Bartlett, TN. and Darryl Muse, Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Richard Muse, Rossville, TN. Ben and Samantha Muse, Bartlett, TN; Tony Muse and Alex Muse, both of St. Augustine, FL; great grandchildren, Connor Muse, Briar Muse and Ryley Muse, all of Bartlett, TN.
Pallbearers will be Richard Muse, Ben Muse, Connor Muse, Mike Muse, Derek Brown, and Michael Brown.
