Jeremy Goodman Jeremy Paul Goodman, age 43 of Pleasant View, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026, after a serious accident in Meridian , Mississippi.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock pm, Tuesday, September 15th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with family and friends officiating.

Burial will follow at Pleasant View United Methodist Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 15th from 10:00AM until the hour of service at 2:00PM.

Jeremy was born on October 2,1982 in Dallas, Texas to Kenneth Goodman and Peggy Stephens Speir. Jeremy was an electrical engineer and a veteran of the U.S. Army who was stationed at Fort Campbell. He dedicated his life to serving others, both professionally and personally. He was very hardworking, dependable, intelligent, compassionate and always willing to lend a hand.

Jeremy knew how to enjoy life, like playing the guitar, disc golf, and spending time with his family. He was a model husband, father and man. His love and devotion to Lori and their two sons are evident in everyone around him and puts them first.

Jeremy is deeply loved by his coworkers, friends, and community through his kindness, humor, and character. He is a cargo short, flip flopping, and go to seek sunshine-beach ever chance he can kind of guy.
He loved being outdoors grilling, making brunch, which was his favorite along with his very popular banana bread. He was a man who likes to sit down for a meal instead of drive thru grab and go. He always danced in his seat to his favorite songs and life was never dull with him.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John “Jack” and Audrey Stephens; uncle, John “Marty” Stephens; and aunt, Mary Goodman.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Lori Goodman; children, Brody Goodman and Keegan Bilodeau; sisters, Crystal (Monty) Gaither and Amber (Josh) Grubb; mother-in-law, Maura De Serio (George); sister-in-law, Brittany (Will) Dickson; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.
