Bobbie Jane Crawford Fables, 79, of Ashland, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Noland Hospital in Anniston, Alabama, surrounded by her loving son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
A lifelong resident of Clay County, Bobbie was a graduate of Mellow Valley High School, Class of 1965. She worked for many years at Ace Manufacturing in Lineville before retiring.

More than anything, Bobbie loved her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were truly the lights of her life, and some of her happiest days were those spent with them. The love she had for her family and the memories they made together will be treasured for years to come.
Bobbie is survived by her son, Tony Fables and his wife, Anna, of Cragford; three grandchildren, Erin Nunnally and her husband, Timothy, Tucker Fables, and Trace Fables and his wife, Morgan; seven great-grandchildren, Connor, Rey, Harlow, Talon, Teagan, Tytus, and Haven; and her brother, Thomas Crawford and his wife, Ann.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Terry Fables, and her parents, Woodfin Crawford and Mary Crawford.
Bobbie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but the love she gave her family and the many precious memories they shared will remain in their hearts forever.
A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be announced at a later date.
