Lola Pauline Mayfield Hensley, age 91, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, following an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Pauline was born on January 3, 1935, to the late John and Della Dodson Frasier. She was a devoted Christian and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She was a faithful member of Mooneyham Church of God, where her faith was an important part of her life.
Pauline had a kind heart and a love for her family that spanned many generations. She will be remembered for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the special place she held in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family was her greatest blessing, and the love she shared with them will live on through every generation.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husbands, William Mayfield and Bobby Hensley; her daughters, Vonda Mayfield, Maxine Mooneyham, and Amanda Medley; as well as her dear sisters and brothers and many other cherished family members. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, along with extended family and dear friends who will continue to cherish her memory.
Pauline is survived by her loving family, including her sons, Allen (Diane) Mayfield of Dunlap, Melvin (Sandy) Mayfield of Spencer, and Randy (Rita) Mayfield of Spencer; daughters, Margaret Hodge of Pikeville, Wanda (Landon) Keener of Spencer, and Cynthia Beasley Tallent of Spencer; and brothers, Rufus Frazier of Spencer and Vernon Frazier of Spencer.
A funeral ceremony for Pauline will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Mooneyham Church of God, with Bro. Doug Cunningham officiating. Mooneyham Church of God will be open to receive friends and family for visitation beginning Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will continue until the time of service on Monday at 2:00 p.m.
