A Memorial service for Joe B. McClure, 70, will be Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home with Pastor Robbie Stofel officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No Visitation is scheduled.
Mr. McClure passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at his residence. He was born November 21, 1955, in Morgan County, to Samuel J. McClure and Louise Burson McClure, who preceded him in death.
Joe loved his Lord Jesus, his family, and the numerous friends he accumulated over the years. He also cherished being a deacon at his church, The Gathering, in Decatur, AL. He proudly served as a UAW Rep at the Saturn / General Motors corporation in Spring Hill, TN, where he also was an Assembly Line Worker. He spent several years doing what he loved best- traveling and working in the Rocky Mountains and Alaska. His photography was amazing. In the final years of life, Joe was blessed with a loving family and his devoted wife, who treasured him and loved every moment with him.
