ImageElinor Louise “Lou” McClung, age 82, of Tuscumbia, passed away on September 8, 2026. The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Austin Swinea officiating the service. The burial will be at Shoals Memorial.

She was a member of Tuscumbia Church of Christ, member of the Young at Heart of Tuscumbia Church of Christ, and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a loving wife, mother, and “RooRoo” to her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Farris McClung; children, Paige Black (Chris), Jennifer Black, Brad Black (Celeste); grandchildren, Abigail Black, Addie Black, Davis Black; stepsons, Robert McClung and John McClung and their families; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn & Geneva (Jones) Bradley; brothers, Mitchell Bradley, Ray Bradley, Jay Bradley; sisters, Ann Smallwood, and Sue Letson.

The pallbearers will be Tony Letson, Anthony Bradley, John Bradley, Monty Merryman, Larry Daniel, and Wayne Pate.

The honorary pallbearers will be Randy Smallwood, John McClung Robert McClung, and Scott Bradley

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eden Calhoun Charitable Fund @ www.ahandtoalwayshold.org/donate or the Tuscumbia Church of Christ Young at Heart fund.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and caregivers of Enhabit Hospice for the exceptional care and support shown to the family.
