Larry Stanfield, age 83, of Boaz, Alabama died on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Marshall Medical Center South.
A graveside service will be held at eleven o’clock am on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Hillcrest Cemetery with Bro. Wayne White officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
Mr. Stanfield was born in Alabama on November 18, 1942, to Jay Henry & Mary Ruth Hayes Stanfield. He was retired from Wagner with 30+ years. He was a life long member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Mr. Stanfield is survived by his Son: Jay Stanfield of Boaz. Daughter & Son-in-Law: Stephanie & Bradley Belflower of Georgia. Grandson: Timothy Belflower. Step-daughter: Christin & Scott Campbell of Tuscumbia. Step- Grandchildren: Brie Jeffreys, Hunter Campbell, Grayson Campbell.
Mr. Stanfield was preceded in death by his Parents: Jay Henry & Mary Ruth Stanfield. Wife: Joan Stanfield. Grandson: Samuel Belflower. Sisters: Peggy Sue Stanfield, Billie Joyce Scogins, Martha Nan Snead.
Pallbearers will be Mark Snead, Bradley Belflower, Timothy Belflower, David Stanfield, Jimmy Burke, Gary Shamblin.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
