9th Arrest Made In Child Exploitation Operation Conducted By Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

FLORENCE-There has been an additional arrest made in child exploitation operation.
On 9/8/2026 deputies arrested Ronald Lynn Cummins, 67, Florence.

Cummins is charged with Electronic Solicitation of a Child.

Cummins will be the 9th person arrested in this child exploitation operation

conducted by the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department.  This investigation was conducted through a coordinated effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies. The operation underscores the continued commitment of local, state and federal law enforcement to protecting children and holding individuals accountable when they attempt to exploit or endanger them.
