Tammy Marie Witt Overton Brown, 66, of Barton, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Tammy’s family has found comfort in the scripture. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.He restoreth my soul.” – Psalm 23:1-3 She is survived by her loving father, Alton Witt (Rachel); her children, Kenny Brown (Haley) and Chris Brown (Shannon); her granddaughters, Hannah, Gracie-Kate, Lilly, and Eleanor Brown; and her siblings, Michael Witt, Sherry Witt Weigart, and Derek Witt. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Claudette Brewer, and her brothers, Mitchell Witt and Dwayne Witt. In keeping with Tammy’s wishes, no services will be held. Her family asks that you celebrate her life by remembering the good times and holding close the cherished memories she leaves behind.
