Sandra Gail HartlineSandra Gail Hartlilne, 73, of Fort Payne, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026, at her home. Sandra always strived to be able to live a life that would show Christ in everything she did. She wanted to leave behind a testimony of how much the Lord meant to her and how important it was to live your life for him no matter the circumstances. She served in the Lord in many ministries through the years, but the last 36 years she served the Lord at Godfrey Ave. Baptist Church as the “Pastor’s Wife”. Though in the last 7 years she could not go to church, she served in every way she could. Her prayers were always felt and her advice she always given knowing she would tell you exactly what God would want you to do. She truly loved the Lord with all her heart.

Besides the Lord everyone that knew her knew that she loved her husband and kids with everything she had in her. She dedicated her life to making sure they would always know how much God loved them, and then how much she loved them. She prayed daily for her family. Now she is starting to live in the reality she always spoke of and desired.

She will be greatly missed but she is now able to breathe and do everything she has always dreamed. She is getting to see all the loved ones she has missed but most of all she is getting to be with and see her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The last thing she would want you to read about her would be if you do not know him personally as your Lord and Savior do not put it off, today is your day of Salvation.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Godfrey Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. John Keefe and Rev. Mike Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service.

She is survived by her husband: Richard Alexander Hartline II; Children: Alex (Jean) Hartline, Angie (Michael) Bone, Robert (Angela) Hartline, Russell Hartline; Grandchildren: Austin (Madelyn) Bone, Whitney Bone, Jada Hartline, Nolan Hartline, Ellis Hartline, Hudson Hartline, Ava Kozerovskis – Hartline, Xander Hartline, and Grayson Hartline.
