Wendy Marie Stingel, 57, of Madison, Alabama, was called home to the Lord on September 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Wendy was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, cherished daughter and sister, and a faithful friend to many. She shared her life with her beloved husband, JD Stingel, and was the proud mother of Sydney Wallace, Bailey Blackmon, and Ethan Stingel. Her grandson, Barclay Wallace Jr., held a very special place in her heart.
She is also lovingly remembered by her parents, Don and Joyce Good; her brother, Danny Good; and the many relatives and friends whose lives she touched.
Wendy built a successful career as a paralegal, bringing intelligence, energy, and dedication to her work. She was outgoing, social, energetic, and joyful. Her happiness was contagious, and she had a wonderful gift for making others feel welcomed and loved.
Always active, Wendy enjoyed working out, running, cycling, and swimming. More than anything, she treasured time with her family and friends. The relationships she formed and the love she freely gave were among the greatest blessings of her life.
Wendy was a woman of strong Christian faith and a member of Most Merciful Jesus Catholic Church. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior. Though she will be deeply missed, they hold firmly to God’s promise of eternal life and look forward to the day when they will be reunited with her in Heaven.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Wendy on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Those wishing to honor Wendy’s memory may make a memorial donation to Parkinson’s Dynamics at www.parkinsonsdynamics.org.
Wendy’s beautiful spirit, joyful energy, and deep love for her family and friends will never be forgotten. Her life was a blessing, her memory will remain a treasure, and her love will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
