Hartselle’s 46th Annual Depot Days Returns September 19 with Week-Long Lineup of Community Events

HARTSELLE  — Historic Downtown Hartselle will once again come alive as Depot Days, presented by Decatur Morgan Hospital, returns on Saturday, September 19, 8:00 am-4:00pm bringing together thousands of visitors for one of North Alabama’s largest and longest-running community festivals.

Celebrating its 46th year, Depot Days showcases the best of Hartselle through live entertainment, local businesses, community traditions, family activities, shopping, and hometown hospitality.

Festival attendees can enjoy:

  • More than 200 arts, crafts, food, and specialty vendors
  • A full day of live entertainment on the Coca-Cola Main Stage including major acts such as the Alabama Heathens.
  • The Depot Days Car Show, presented by North Alabama Pepsi, and Storey Automotive
  • The Kids Station, presented by Cullman Regional Medical Center, featuring activities and entertainment for children of all ages
  • The Depot Days Art Show, hosted by Mega Grantie and sponsored Photography By.JesiB
  •  Live podcast recordings featuring The Beauty in Burnt Toast
  • Food trucks, local restaurants, demonstrations, downtown shopping, and much more throughout the day

The celebration extends far beyond festival day with a full week of community events.

Rails to Recovery Fun Run & 5K

Landmarks & Legends: A Walk Through Time

Experience Hartselle’s rich history through an immersive, self-guided walking tour where local students and downtown merchants portray historical figures and share the stories that helped shape the city. This unique event brings Hartselle’s past to life while highlighting its historic downtown.

Light Up the Night Student Worship Event

Wednesday, September 16 | 6:00 p.m.

Students from across the region are invited for an evening of worship, music, encouragement, and fellowship.

Community Worship Service

The Depot Days celebration concludes with a community worship service, bringing residents together in faith and fellowship.

Competitive spirits can take part in the Depot Days Cornhole Tournament, sponsored by:

Families will enjoy the Kids Station, classic cars, live demonstrations, shopping opportunities, local food vendors, and entertainment around every corner throughout Historic Downtown Hartselle.
