Catherine Burns Choate, 96, a lifelong resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Per her wishes, a graveside service will be conducted Friday, August 28, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. A complete obituary will be published later.
