E. Faye Tessman, 84, of Joppa, Al., passed away on August,18th, 2026 in her home. She was the daughter of Vester and Leta(Hill) Carter. Faye was married to Larry Tessman for 58 years.
She is survived by her husband Larry; a brother Robert Carter (Lisa); a son David Tessman (Bonnie); grandchildren Miranda Burress (Chris); Andrea Sprouse (Shaun); Elizabeth Ash (Willie); MaKayla Ash (Jake); and Aubrianna Hilliard.
Faye was a Sales Clerk and a department manager at Belk for 40 years. She was an excellent cook and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vester and Leta Carter. She also was preceded by two brothers, J. B. Carter and Clyde Carter; a daughter Barbara Ash and a son in-law Randall Ash.
Faye Tessman will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and all who loved and knew her.
