Obituary of Norris Rickey NoahRick Noah, 70, of Southside, Alabama, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until 2 pm Thursday, August 20, 2026, with the funeral service at 2 pm at Collier Butler Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Randy Green will officiate. Interment will follow at Green Family Cemetery in Southside.

Rick was a loving son, cousin, and friend. He will be remembered as one of a kind for his independent spirit and his ability to keep those around him laughing.

Rick was a graduate of Southside High School, Class of 1974. He spent many years working at Stephenson Diversified Electronics and Wiretronics LLC and later retired from Honda Manufacturing.

Rick enjoyed the simple things in life, especially anything that allowed him to be outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, working in the yard or on the tractor, and Auburn football. He enjoyed roaming the farm on his side-by-side on secret missions with Wesley. He also took pride in caring for his mother and any other family members whenever they needed him.

Rick also had a special way of showing his affection- by teasing and pestering the Stephenson girls whenever he got the chance. Those who knew him well will remember the jokes, aggravation, and laughter that came along with having Rick around.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Faye Green and Cleo Noah, grandparents Miles and Millie Green, and John and Bessie Noah, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Rick considered his immediate family to include his aunt, Susie Stephenson, cousins Len Thomason, Sammi Stephenson (Robin Hubbard), Whitney (Scott) Cloer, and Jolie (Wesley) Roberts, along with their children. Wesley and Robin were considered his closest friends. He is also survived by aunts and uncles Carl Green and Marion (Nancy) Green, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Rick will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter he brought, the family he cared for, and all the little things that made him uniquely Rick.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Roberts, Len Thomason, Robin Hubbard, Scott Cloer, Dub Stephenson, and Mike Riley.
