Glenn “Parker” Jones Jr., 59, of Florence, passed away August 11, 2026, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was a master electrician by trade and a member of the IBEW.
Visitation will be held at Greenview Funeral Home on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 11-12 p.m.
The funeral will be immediately following in the chapel at 12 p.m..
Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park.
Parker was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Mary Joyce Jones.
He is survived by his two sisters, Pamela J. Jones and Sherrie Stovall.
Pallbearers will be Greg Howard, Scott Rickard, Stan Givens, Dan Davis, Sheldon Johnston and Roy Littrell.
Parker loved the outdoors, watching Alabama football and spending time with his friends.
He was a compassionate animal lover. Parker was always willing to help others. He was a great brother and a good friend.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
