Daniel Zach Spurgeon, 39 of Russellville, Al passed away on Thursday, August 06, 2026, at his residence.
Daniel loved kayaking and the outdoors. He was also a big gamer. Daniel and his family would play board games every time we visited.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jessica Spurgeon; mother, Phyllis Anderson; brothers, Davy Spurgeon (Ashley), Dillon Spurgeon (Teresa); nephew, Riley Spurgeon, all from Florence, AL, niece, Caitlyn Spurgeon of Opelika, AL., grandmother, Verna Fenn.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Spurgeon, stepfather, Wayne Murphy, grandparents, George Sandusky, Lola Wood and Glen Spurgeon.
The celebration of life will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2026 @ Spry Memorial Chapel.
