Vicki Lynn Velvin Brown, 75, departed this earthly realm for her heavenly home on August 3rd, 2026, after a brief period of declining health. She was born on November 28th, 1950, in Henderson, Texas to the late Gordon Gloster Velvin and Katherine Louise Stanfield Velvin. She grew up in Texas and Louisiana and lived in Amory Mississippi for well over 30 years with her late husband Willie Brown. She loved her dog, Gizmo, working on her Facebook jigsaw puzzles, keeping up with the K-pop band BTS, and listening to her favorite music artist Barry Manilow.
Vicki also loved spending time with her grandson Brandon when she was not working. Vicki chose to be cremated with a private family service at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo Mississippi who is honored to be serving the family. Vicki is survived by her sons, Chad Norman and his son Brandon Gray-Norman of Amory, her son Ashley Norman of Monroe County, her sister Karen of South Carolina, her sister Linda and her brother Michael of Shreveport Louisiana, her late sister Terri of Mansfield Louisiana, and her longtime Walmart family of associates and customers where she worked for over 25 years.
