Patricia Ann Tidmore, affectionately known as “Patsy” or “Mrs. Pat,” age 89, of Crossville, AL, passed away peacefully at home on July 31, 2026.
Born on April 29, 1937, in Collinsville, AL, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ernest and Quimilla Cagle. She attended Collinsville High School. On November 26, 1954, she married her devoted husband, Lamar Tidmore, with whom she shared a beautiful life of 71 years of love and ministry.
Mrs. Pat lived a life dedicated to faith, family, and education. She faithfully served alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife, offering warmth, guidance, and support to their congregations. Her passion for children and faith shined brightly through her work as a teacher at Beth Haven Christian Academy, where she touched and shaped the lives of countless students over the years.
Survived by: Her loving husband, Lamar Tidmore; her sister, Barbara Burt; her three daughters, Sandra (Donald) Pike, Rhonda (Tim) Smith, and Stacey (Mike) Kittle; and her son, Steve (Donna) Tidmore. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and hundreds of former church and school students who held a special place in her heart.
Predeceased by: Her parents, Ernest and Quimilla Cagle; her three brothers; and her two grandsons, Jarrod Freeman and Josh Tidmore.
Funeral services will be held at Albertville Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Mims, Rev. Walt Howard, and Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Visitation for friends will be held prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. No graveside services will follow.
Pallbearers: Zach Pointer, Cullman and Jace Freeman, Ty and Levi Bouldin, Jolton Maze, Ryder and Maddie Smith, Krew, Kohen, and Kade Kittle and Jaxon and Phoenix Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shepherd’s Cove.
Arrangements are entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
