Funeral service with military honors for Donald Michael “Mike” Martin, age 77, of Cullman is Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Cullman Church of Christ, officiated by Bro. Steve Cummings, son, Wade Martin, son-in-law, Brad Lewis, Bro. Jim Wright, and Bro. Jimmy Dale Burgess. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Childhaven and Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cullman Church of Christ. Mr. Martin will be laid to rest at New Hope No. 2 Cemetery.

Mike was born on November 25, 1948, in Morgan County, Alabama. He passed away at North Alabama Specialty Hospital in Huntsville on Friday, July 31, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ones Hays; mother-in-law, Era Hays; brothers-in-law, Royce Hays and Kevin Shabel; aunt and uncle Jane and Jude Martin.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Wonda Hays Martin; daughter, Amy Martin Lewis (Brad); son, Wade Martin (Magaly); grandchildren, Cody Wayne Lewis, Austin Michael Lewis (Maci), and Lydia Elizabeth Lewis; a host of family and friends.
