It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Mark Lee Upton, who left us on July 29, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on February 3, 1980, Mark brought an extraordinary amount of light, laughter, and love into our lives from his very first day. He had a gentle spirit and a deep passion for family and friends, always approaching the things he loved with curiosity and a whole heart.
Mark is survived by his loving mother, Rhonda; stepfather, Richard; his brothers, Kazuki and Cody; his nieces, Ayame and Riko; and countless friends who were touched by his kind heart and bright presence. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the joy he shared will stay with us forever. He will never be forgotten. Mark’s light touched everyone he met. His laughter and his quiet strength will live on in our hearts forever.
