Sherri Mann, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, July 31, 2026, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, an educator with the Lawrence County School System, and of the Christian faith. Ms. Mann enjoyed trivia, traveling, music, and sports. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. and Wynell Lee Brown; and one brother, Gary Brown.
She is survived by one daughter, Wynn Gooch (Bradley) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one grandson, Thomas Gooch of Lawrenceburg, TN; and several extended family members.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Volunteer Hospice, Meghan Escue, and Cindy Wilhoite.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 2, 2026, with Mickey Brackin and Rev. Allen Black officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to Pat Summitt Foundation.
