Meet Mocha!
No, not the coffee… although she will wake you up if you underestimate her.
Mocha is a 2½-year-old sweetheart who recently found herself at the shelter after her family had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender her due to personal circumstances. Sometimes life changes, even when the love doesn’t.
Now she’s hoping someone will give her the second chance she deserves.
Here’s the fun (and very honest) owner’s manual:
Thinks a 4-foot fence is more of a suggestion than a rule.
She’ll politely go to the door when she needs to potty… but if you don’t answer her request fast enough, she’ll leave you a little reminder right by the door.
She’s been around dogs, cats, chickens, and other farm animals.
Her previous family said she even used to sleep with the neighbor’s cat… because apparently everyone is her friend.
She absolutely adores kids, but she can be a little rambunctious when she’s excited, so she’d love a family that can keep up with her playful personality.
Mocha has already lost the only home she’s ever known. She doesn’t understand why she’s here—she just knows she’s waiting for someone to love her again.
Mocha will be required to be spayed as part of her adoption contract. Her adoption includes a $70 spay voucher and a $15 rabies voucher to help with those costs.

Somehow, this sweet girl ended up at the shelter as a stray… and no one ever came looking for her.
Despite that, Janie hasn’t let it change her loving heart.
She is the biggest cuddle bug! Give her a soft blanket and she’ll happily roll herself up into the coziest little ball for a nap. It’s impossible not to smile when you see her all tucked in.
Janie has done great with the other dogs at the shelter and truly doesn’t know a stranger. Every person she meets is a new friend, and all she wants is love in return.
She deserves so much more than a kennel. She deserves a warm bed, a family to cuddle with every night, and a place to finally call home.

Braden is already neutered, absolutely loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and adores kids. He truly is the total package wrapped up in one little guy.
At around 30 pounds, he’s the perfect size—not too big, not too small. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, going for walks, or playing in the backyard, Braden is ready to be your best friend.
Every day, he watches other dogs leave the shelter while he stays behind, patiently waiting and hoping that someone will finally choose him.
