Betty Jo Martin, born December 10, 1936 to Luther and Ida Tidwell. Died July 24, 2026 at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama. She loved to read and over the years loved working with her flowers in the yard. Her family was very important to her; she loved them all very much. Survived by her husband of over 69 years, James L. Martin. Children – Daughter – Debra (Dale) Wade, Son – James R. Martin Grandchildren – Amanda (Curt) Ward, Adam (Nicki) Schrader, Todd (Angie) Martin, David (Wendy) Martin, Sawyer (Cason) Martin, sister-in-law Maxine (Morris) Chambers, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
