Jacklyn Key Bailey, 76, of Decatur, AL passed away Saturday, July 24, 2026.
Jacklyn was born in Decatur to Jacklyn and Gilbert Key and was a 1968 graduate of Decatur High School. She attended Sullins College and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama. She retired after 20 years from the Decatur Convention and Visitors Bureau and was a life-long member of St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Foster P. Bailey, Jr.; daughter, Mary Jacklyn Sivulich (Jay); son, Foster P. Bailey III (Kristin); grandchildren, Evie, Jack, Declan, Elly Key and Blythe; and brother, Gilbert Jasper Key, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Smiley Key.
Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, at St. John’s Episcopal Church followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s, 202 Gordon Drive SE, Decatur 35601 or a favorite charity.
