Funeral Service for Clois Janette Owens, age 86, of Cullman, will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Wade Warren officiating; burial at Cullman City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Janette passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at her residence. She was born, January 7, 1940, to Gurley Nelson and Birdie Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irby Owens; her parents; brother, Audrey Nelson; brother, Billy Nelson and sister, Patsy Knight.
Survivors include her daughter, Gyzelle (Wade) Warren; grandchildren, Andy (Miranda) Warren, Gracie (Duncan) Hopper, Maggie (Scott) Waitley; nine great grandchildren; sister, Judy Nelson; brother, Ronnie (Kaythy) Nelson; sister, Kathy (Delone) Dunn and caregiver and special friend, Rhonda Bracero.
