FLORENCE — SkyDog: The Shoals Experience has released single-day general-admission tickets for its inaugural weekend, Aug. 28–30, at Renaissance Shoals Resort & Spa and the Shoals Convention Center in Florence. Guests may now choose Friday-only, Saturday-only or two-day general admission. Separate tickets are also available for the SkyDog Soul Sunday Brunch, benefitting the FAME Girls Ranch.

At the 2026 Alabama Governor’s Conference on Tourism, held July 13–15 at Renaissance Shoals Resort & Spa, SkyDog Shoals was named fifth in a list of top-ten new attractions in Alabama. The SkyDog Shoals event is built around the recording history and continuing creative life of The Shoals, pairing live performances with film, conversations, exhibits, food and regional makers.

The announced lineup includes Jackson Dean, Wet Willie featuring Jimmy Hall, Maggie Rose, Sons of Legion, The FAME Gang, Spooner Oldham, Mike Farris, Gary Nichols, Lamont Landers, Lamar Williams Jr. and more, with Muscle Shoals All-Star and Allman Brothers sets led by music director Scott Sharrard.

Friday and Saturday

Friday centers on opening-night performances, including Jackson Dean, Sons of Legion, and a Muscle Shoals All-Star set. Saturday expands across the resort and convention center with public daytime programming. Southbound Market opens at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and is free to the public, along with selected daytime convention-center activities. Saturday’s music line-up includes Wet Willie, Maggie Rose, The Family, and an Allman Tribute set. Festival-ground concerts require a ticket, and the Rolling Stones Museum is only open to VIP ticket holders.

Sunday. The weekend closes with the ticketed SkyDog Soul Sunday Brunch. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., with brunch and the program scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon. Chef Dean Donnell’s complete brunch menu and additional program details will be announced before the event.

“This event is about honoring our shared legacy and giving people an authentic and elevated way to experience The Shoals,” said Rodney Hall, president of FAME Recording Studios and Publishing.

General admission includes public music access on Friday and/or Saturday, festival-grounds access, food and merchandise purchase opportunities, and Saturday’s Southbound Market and convention-center programming. VIP areas, hotel accommodations, shuttle service and Sunday brunch are sold separately.
