Betty Robertson Turner Betty Robertson Turner, 86, passed away peacefully on July 19th, 2026.

Born on May 13th, 1940, to Fred Robertson and Irene Clinard Robertson, Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love for her family was evident throughout her life.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her sons, Mark Turner and wife Debbie, Michael Turner and wife Angie, and Sammy Turner; daughters, Janice Eidson and husband Phillip, and Gina Carter and husband Jason; sisters, Ann Russell and husband Johnny, and Mary Bassham and husband Kenneth; as well as twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Wesley Turner, and her parents, Fred and Irene Robertson. Also preceded by her six brothers, Villard Robertson, JC Robertson, Eardie Robertson, Franklin Robertson, Douglas Robertson, and Fred Robertson Jr.; and five sisters, Alma Kieff Lane, Virginia Robertson, June Thacker Whitfield, Helen Davis Brown, and Joan Kelley.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, from 5pm – 8pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026, at 11:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Randy Robertson officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont, Alabama.
Betty will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the kindness she shared with everyone who knew her. Her memory will live on in the lives of those she touched and the family she loved so dearly.
