Billy Coy Clem, 87, passed away peacefully on July 18th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on June 15th, 1939, to Coy Clem and Lila Hardy Clem, Billy lived a life centered on faith, family, and friendship. He will be remembered for his steadfast faith in Jesus Christ, his deep love for his family, and the unique sense of humor that brought smiles to those around him.
On June 17th, 1956, Billy married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Carter Clem. Together they built a loving family and shared many cherished years together while raising their five children.
Mr. Clem was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Patricia Ann Clem; sons, Randy Clem and Andy Clem; his parents; brother, D.W. Clem, Bobby (Mollie), Buddy, Buel (Catherine); sisters, Louise Aycock (Junior), Margaret Malone, and Martha Nell Hodges (Will David); nieces, and nephews.
He is survived by his daughters, Regina Lynn Coffman and husband Ronnie, Renea Clem, and Randi-Lee Brann and husband Joshua; son, Russell Dwayne Clem and wife Julie; grandchildren, Joshua Coffman and wife Erin, Christopher Coffman and wife Amy, Jenna Haggenmaker and husband Tyler, Jessica Brazeal and husband Dylan, Hannah Pylant and husband Tyler, Dakota Clem and wife Cheyenne, Makayla Moreland and husband Steven, and Hunter Clem; great-grandchildren, Emily, Logan, Connor, Everleigh, Ella, Cooper, Presley, Carter, Cayde, Elliott, and Coy and Freya, expected soon.
Billy also leaves behind special nieces, Linda Carol Dickson and Gwendolyn Williams; special friends, Roger and Cindy McCurry, along with their children and grandchildren, Haley, Clint, Amelia, Daniel, and Evie; and a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22nd 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Toney Wales officiating.
Billy’s legacy of faith, love, laughter, and devotion to his family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
