Mrs. Hazel Louise Beavers Dietrich was born to Mrs. Carrie Mae Schrimpcher Beavers and Mr. William Clifford Beavers on April 23,1934, in Madison County Alabama, and passed from this life surrounded by those who loved her on July 18, 2026 to be with her Lord. She was 92 years old.
She has two sisters, MIldred Inez Pless, and Betty Lou Belovski. She attended elementary school at West Decatur Elementary School and graduated from Decatur High School in May 1952.
Mrs. Dietrich currently resided in Decatur, Alabama and was a long time member of 16th Ave. Baptist Church here in Decatur.
After her graduation she worked until her retirement at Rainey’s School of Beauty on 2nd Ave. in Decatur as an accountant and office manager.
She was married to William (Bill) Dietrich, and had one daughter, Belinda Kim Watson Gardiner.
Mrs. Dietrich was preceded in death by, her mother and father, both of her sisters, her husband, and her daughter, as well as her miniature poodle Izzy. She is mourned by her granddaughter, Constance Gardiner and family of Columbia, TN. As well as one niece, Anekiel Cosnahan, and two nephews, Billy Woodall and Nick Belovski, and their families, along with many friends, neighbors, and loved ones.
Mrs. Dietrich services will be handled by Roselawn Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. The Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. John Woodall officiating. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
