Mr. Robert “Bob” Eugene Granatire, Sr., age 76, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born on March 04, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA and worked as a machinist. He was a highly respected Past Commander for VFW Post 5064 in McMinnville as well as Post 4536 in Palm Bay, FL. Bob enjoyed watching westerns on the tv and snuggling with his German shepherd, Daisy and his cat, Chloe. He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene Joseph Granatire and Lois Vernell Race Granatire, step mother Grace Granatire, and brother Denny Granatire.
Survivors include his wife Carol Rich Granatire, children Robert Eugene (Ginger) Granatire, Jr., Jennifer Lois (Tony) Terrell, and Andrew Joseph Granatire, grandchildren Amanda Terrell, John (Abby) Terrell, and Hailey Granatire, great grandchildren, Andrew Watson, Robert Cruz Terrell, and Jailynn Terrell, and step brother Larry Granatire.
Visitation for Bob Granatire is scheduled from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 08, 2026 at McMinnville Funeral Home. Military Grave Rites will be administered by V.F.W. Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173 following visitation hours at McMinnville Funeral Home.
