Funeral Services for Reba Moore Pate, age 86, of Delta will take place on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Bro. David Holcombe and Bro. John Roberts officiating and Brett Harris speaking. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (North)

Born in Cleburne County, Alabama, she spent most of her life in Clay County. She was employed for over 24 years at Spring Valley Foods; which later became Tyson Foods in Ashland. Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time fishing, caring for her beloved cats, and making memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, which brought her tremendous happiness. She enjoyed watching television, especially game shows, and rarely missed the opportunity to watch wrestling. She also loved playing cards with family and friends, where laughter and friendly competition were always part of the game. She was a member of McCollum Baptist Church. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She was survived by her daughters Rachel Harris (Will) of Fayetteville, Tennessee and Nita Elois Worthy (Kenneth) of Delta; her sons Danny Moore of Alexandria and Lamar Pate (Sheila) of Cragford; her sisters, Vera Moore of Lineville and Linda Jo Hodnett of Delta; her brothers Tim Moore (Billie Faye) of Anniston and Donald Green of Delta; 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Brenton William Moore and Maggie Lois McCormick, her husband Horace Clifton Pate, three sisters, three brothers, and one grandson Trevor Moore.

Active pallbearers will be Braden Harris, Brett Harris, Jordan Harris, Jesse Harris, Cameron Pate, and Benji Cummings.

Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Worthy, Austin Worthy, Kevin Worthy, Dontavious Cummings, Dezmond Ackles, Jamie Griffin, and Patrick Green.

Her visitation will take place on Tuesday July 21, 2026 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM. And until service time on Wednesday.
