A graveside service for Elaine Meredith Moffett, age 89, of Fayetteville, TN, will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Kirkland Cemetery with Bro. Jeremy Hudgins officiating.
Elaine passed away peacefully at her home on July 16, 2026. She was born on November 12, 1936, in Los Angeles, CA, to the late Alvin Thomas and Geneva Elanie LaMore Haupt.
Elaine was a retired real estate broker and a dedicated, longtime member of Kirkland Baptist Church. A devoted Christian, she deeply loved her church community and lived her life with a kind, gentle spirit. Above all, Elaine held an unwavering love for her family. Though she could be a stern parent when needed, she was always fiercely loving, and her wisdom will continue to guide her children for generations to come.
Known for being wonderfully neat and a bit of a perfectionist, Elaine kept a beautiful home. She took great joy in meticulously tending to her flowers, watching the birds, and cooking fabulous meals for her loved ones. Elaine also absolutely adored the holiday season; every Christmas, her home was joyfully filled with her cherished, extensive collection of Christmas villages.
Elaine is survived by her children, Greg Roller, David Roller (Michelle), Kari Roberts (Andrew), Lori Banton (Rob), and Jason Moffett; her grandchildren, Kyle Roller, Natasha Roller, Justin Roller (Constance), Jennifer Wessler (Mike), Jessica Block (Devin), Angela Cochran (Robert), Jane Reed (Weston), Emily Banton, and Heath Moffett; her great-grandchildren, Elise, Ethan, Kyle, Hannah, Truman, Ozzalyn, Iris, August, and Ellie; and her siblings, Linda Reynolds, Gary Haupt, and Dennis Jones.
In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Moffett, and her brother, Alan Haupt.
