Linda Louise Trevarthen, 85, of Crane Hill, Alabama, was born March 13, 1941, in Brookside, Alabama, and passed away July 14, 2026. Through the years, Linda’s steady devotion to those she loved, her quiet strength in life’s changing seasons, and the deep affection she inspired in others remained constant—gifts that will be remembered with gratitude and held close by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her husband, Gerald Trevarthen; her children, Terri Geer (Danny), Sherri Sandlin (Gordon), and Scott Trevarthen (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Lori Cochran (Adam), Brandi Shelton (Josh), Nick Geer (Cailah), Brittany Hallmark Godsey (Jamerson), Bradley Hallmark, Faith Vaden (Adam), JJ Trevarthen (Jolie), and Aiden Sandlin; and her great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Richardson Rodgers (Lucas), Will Cochran, Olivia Cochran, Adeline Shelton, Charlotte Cochran, Chanlee Geer, Ethan Cochran, Hadlee Geer, Penelope Vaden, Samuel Vaden, Avery Shelton, and Vandiver Godsey.
Pallbearers: Nick Geer, Bradley Hallmark, J J Trevarthen, Aiden Sandlin, Jamerson Godsey, Josh Shelton, Will Cochran, and Adam Vaden.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 20, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave North West, Cullman, AL 350555827. A Celebration of Life will follow from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm with Pastors Jerry Lawson and Matt Carmichael, along with worship songs by Tela Washam, at Moss-Service Funeral Home. Committal Service will be held Monday, July 20, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 4:30 pm at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery, 90 Good Hope School Rd, Cullman, AL 35057.
