A memorial service to celebrate the life of Billie Ray Martin, 75, will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home.Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time.
Billie passed away on July 16, 2026 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born in Memphis to the late Billie T. and Julia Ann Martin. He was raised in Corinth and graduated from Corinth High School. Billie worked for Hensley Electric and the City of Corinth, where he retired from.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Brian Thrasher; his second wife, Susan Martin Griswell and his first wife, Judy Martin.
He is survived by his children, Tina Strachan (Mark), Michelle Thrasher, Tiffany Norman and Melody Tucker; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Trimble; and his brothers, George Martin (Renae) and Robert Martin.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request memorial contributions be made to the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.
