Mandy West, age 48, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born on March 24, 1978, in Lexington, Tennessee, Mandy was the daughter of Jimmy Bailey and Barbara White Buckingham. She worked in billing and clerical services for Apria Healthcare, where she was known for her dedication and kindness.
Mandy was a truly remarkable person with a gentle spirit and an easy way about her that made everyone feel comfortable. She was sweet, kind, and completely nonjudgmental, always putting the needs of others before her own. She never wanted to inconvenience anyone and lived her life with quiet compassion and grace.
Above all else, Mandy loved being a mother. She poured her heart into raising her children, and they were the greatest joy of her life. She was a devoted and loving mom who gave everything she had to her family. She also had a deep love for music and was absolutely obsessed with cats.
On September 1, 2022, Mandy married the love of her life, Tim West, and together they shared a wonderful marriage filled with love and companionship.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tim West; her three sons, Mira Worley, C.J. Stein, and Keagan Chappel; two stepsons, Logan West and Haydn West; her parents, Jimmy Paul Bailey (Amparo “Tita”) and Barbara Bailey Buckingham (Don Jr.); two brothers, Clay Bailey and Jimmy Don Bailey (Kaycee); along with many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory forever.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Lexington, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. at Pafford Funeral Home.
Though her time here was far too short, Mandy’s kindness, gentle heart, unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met will never be forgotten. Her legacy will live on through those who knew and loved her.
