Galen Ann Rosson, age 76, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026. She was born on June 21, 1950.
Galen worked as a hairdresser throughout her life. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and all occasions. Her love for her family and the memories created around the table will be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, CW and Lozell Rosson. Galen is survived by her children, Sonya Harvey, LeeAnn Jones (Brandon), and J.R. Pankey (Jenifer); her siblings, Rickey Rosson (Beth) and Linda White; her grandchildren, Leila, Jay, Colby, Juwan, Trevor, Destiney, Deondre, Audrey, Alyssa, Trinity, Paige, Audrey, and Adam; and her great-grandchildren, Khalea, Lilly, Braelyn, Karson, Karter, and Avaeya. Nephews, Chad (Lauren) Rosson, Jay (Elizabeth) Rosson, Trent (Victoria) White.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Jeremy Burns and Wayne White will officiate. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
