Robbie Nell Robertson was born on February 26, 1938, in Limestone County to Stacey and Vera King Pressnell. She was a lifelong member of O’Neal Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 60 years, Fred Robertson, Jr., one son, Fred Darek Robertson, one grandson, Joseph Lee Powers, one sister, Deanie Britton, and one brother, Monroe Pressnell.
Robbie Nell was a full-time homemaker, but she embraced her calling with joy and purpose. She believed that her home was more than four walls – it was a place where love, peace, and most importantly faith and prayer could be lived. Anyone who walked through her back door noticed how spotless everything was. You could literally eat off her floors. The same could be said for her bathrooms! She took great pride in keeping a clean home, not because she was seeking perfection but because it was one of the many ways she showed love and care for her family. But most importantly, she lived a life of Godly Faith. She planted the ‘Seeds of Faith’ throughout her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that will continue to grow for generations. She emphasized the importance of family, the importance of prayer, the importance of reading God’s word and the importance of living a life that honors Christ. She would always tell us to ‘Count our Blessings’, and remind us that no matter what life brings, we can always turn to God in prayer.
Robbie Nell is survived by her four daughters, Tammy Leigh Laxson, husband Guinn, Robin Michelle Stinnett, husband Mark, Mia Sheree Powers, husband Jeff & Amanda Dare Moss, husband Chris.
