Corrine Elizabeth Hardy, age 72, passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2026. She was born on May 12th, 1954, in Kentucky to Leonard Lawrence and Mary Shaw Lawrence.
Corrine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love for her family was the center of her life. She shared many cherished years with her husband, Michael Layton Hardy, and created countless memories with those she loved.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Layton Hardy; her son, Leonard J. Lewis; her stepsons, Michael Scott Hardy, Matthew Ray Hardy, and Patrick Wayne Hardy; her sisters, Cathy Sutherland and Gussie Lawrence; her brothers, Buddy Lawrence and Leonard “Jake” Lawrence; as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Lawrence and Mary Shaw Lawrence; her son, Leroy Lewis Jr.; and her grandson, Joseph Lewis.
Corrine’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her
