She was born on September 25, 1942 to the late Dale and Vera Good in Indiana. She lived a life marked by generosity, faithful service, and love for her family.

Nancy served as a newspaper carrier for The Huntsville Times for more than 30 years, where her dedication and strong work ethic were evident to all who knew her. She was also a devoted member of Sherwood Baptist Church, where she faithfully volunteered in the church kitchen. Nancy was happiest when caring for others, whether through meals, thoughtful gifts, or charitable donations.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Colette Charest.

Nancy is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lynette Monroe; her son, Rodger Monroe and his wife, Amanda Monroe; and her cherished grandchildren, Ashley Charest and her fiance, Billy Collins, Joshua Monroe and his wife, Jordyn Monroe, and Kara Monroe; and her brother, Jim Good. She will be deeply missed by her family, church family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her quiet acts of kindness.

A funeral service celebrating Nancy’s life will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will immediately follow at Center Springs United Methodist Cemetery in Somerville, Alabama.
