Kennie George Wallace, 61, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Helen Keller Hospital. He was a forklift driver for 36 years at Monarch Tile. Ken loved fishing, hunting, his dog Axel, his cat Killer Joe, and Alabama football. Ken was huge supporter of the Republican Party. Most of all he loved his family, his mama and the Lord.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 11a.m. – 1 p.m. The funeral will be in the chapel at 1 p.m. with the burial at Greenview Memorial Park immediately following.
Officiating the service will be Bro. Darren English.
Kennie was preceded in death by his parents, Morris T. (Pete) and Dorothy Jones Wallace; sons, Jason Kyle Wallace and Danny Wallace Burton Jr. (D.J).
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Willingham Wallace; sons, Joshua Kain Wallace, Eric Burton (Rebecca); brother, Ricky Thomas Wallace; sisters, Patricia Wallace Kimbrough, Peggy Wallace Marks (Charles), Sheila Wallace Lee (Casey); grandchildren, Bentley Kaden, Blake, Elijah, Tobi, Rylan, Serenity, Junior, Isabella, Savannah, Shiloh, Abel, Eon; and several nieces and nephews.
Ken was dearly loved by all that knew him and will truly be missed.
