Ruble “Billy” Oneal Pierce, 92 passed away on July 11, 2026, at Helen Keller Hospital. He was born in Franklin County, Al on February 18, 1934, to Lois Pierce and Rader Wilson Pierce. Mr. Pierce was married to the love of his life, Marry Lorene Farris Pierce, for 68 years. He served in the army during the Korean War, later he worked in the steel industry as a laborer.
Mr. Pierce always had a smile on his face. He never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Mary Pierce, children, Randy Pierce (Paula), Mike Pierce (Kerri), and Tania Istvanek. Grandchildren, Brennan Pierce, Kala Istvanek, Cody Istvanek, and Cassie Pierce, as well as a great grandchild, Amelia Pierce.
Sisters, Edith Taylor, Peggy Hardin, Norma Jean Bostwick (Bobby), Ernestine Harrison, and brother, Vollie Pierce.
Visitation will be at Spry Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 11:00 – 12:00 followed by the funeral with Bro. Tom Childs and Bobby Martin speaking. Bryan Welch will be singing. Mr. Pierce will be laid to rest at Butler Cemetery in Golden, Ms.
Pallbearers will be family.
