Rita Ann Riddle, 73, of Ardmore, passed away on Saturday, July 11th, 2026, at Elk River Health and Nursing Center. She was born on May 21st, 1953, in Limestone County, AL, to Thomas and Geneva (Hastings) Pylant.
Mrs. Riddle is survived by her daughters, Mandy Riddle and Misty Riddle; son, Daniel Riddle (Erin); grandchildren, Garrett Millien (Mollie), Brayden O’Keefe, Madison Hardin, Charles Holman (Della), and Gunner Riddle; brother, Roger Pylant; and sisters, Vickie Funk, Charlene Gault, and Rhonda Currin.
She is preceded in death by her son, Billy Otis Riddle, Jr., and parents, Thomas and Geneva Pylant.
The funeral service for Mrs. Riddle will be Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m., with Aaron Dunnvant officiating. The visitation will be Wednesday, from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m., at the chapel. Pallbearers will be Daniel Riddle, Bobby Van Hoozer, Garrett Millien, Thomas Currin, Norman Yearta, and Roger Pylant. Burial will be at Hastings Cemetery.
Mrs. Riddle loved birds and her grandchildren.
