Barbara Amanda Billington Boettner, 89, a resident of Brentwood, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Williamson Medical Center.

Barbara was born August 4, 1936, in San Angelo, Texas, to the late Robert L. Billington and the late Amanda Oakley Billington. She attended the University of Ohio and graduated from O’More College of Design. Barbara enjoyed a successful career in retail spanning more than 30 years, retiring from The Little Cottage in Franklin. A faithful Christian, she was a lifelong member of Crieve Hall Church of Christ, where she was actively involved in the life and ministries of the congregation.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Boettner of McMinnville, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Love; and her brothers, Jack Billington and Jim Billington.
