Our deeply loved son, Blake Horn, passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 19.
Blake was born November 20, 2006. Blake came into this world quickly and, far too soon, left it just as quickly.
Blake was beautiful and kind. He was intelligent and lived with integrity. He was so funny! He had an incredible sense of humor and a sharp wit that kept everyone laughing. His sarcasm, creativity, and irresistible smile could brighten any room— you couldn’t help but smile back. Blake could be a little reserved. He preferred to quietly take in a situation before jumping in. Blake was gracious, thoughtful, and genuine in every way.
Blake embraced life with enthusiasm and was always eager to try something new. He enjoyed being active and had a passion for fitness and painting. He loved concerts, music, gaming (PLAT 2!), and SHOES (oh my goodness the shoes!). Most of all he treasured spending time with family and friends. Blake had a remarkable ability to find joy in life’s simple moments.
Family was everything to Blake. He shared an especially close bond with his Moma and had immense love and respect for his Dad. He truly embodied the very best parts of both of us. Blake was also a loving brother to his sister, Reagan. Their bond was filled with laughter, haircuts, gaming, escape rooms, and countless memories that will be cherished forever.
To know Blake was to know someone who made life better simply by being in it. He was ambitious, caring, respectful, genuine, and full of life. Blake wasn’t just a person—he was a feeling!!! He brought joy, happiness, warmth, laughter, comfort and unconditional love wherever he went. He had a rare gift for making people feel welcome, accepted, and at home. Though his presence is deeply missed, his memory will continue to bring comfort to all who love him.
Blake is survived by his parents, Brad and Tammy Horn; his sister, Reagan Horn; his grandmothers, Jo Barnes, Anna Allison, and Becky Horn; his grandfathers, Billy Joe Allison and Terry Woods; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who became family. He was preceded in death by his Grandaddy, Ed Horn.
Blake’s legacy will never be measured by the years he lived, but by the countless lives he touched through his kindness, generosity, humor, easy-going spirit, and unwavering love. He lives on in every story shared, every song that brings back a memory, every smile inspired by thoughts of him, and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love him.
In lieu of flowers, our family requests that memorial donations be made to the Well Outreach in Spring Hill, Tennessee, or to the Maury County Animal Shelter in Columbia, Tennessee.
The care of Blake has been entrusted to the compassionate staff of Williams Funeral Home. To share words of comfort and condolences with the family, please visit www.williamsfh.com
