Micheal Lee Melton, age 54 of La Vergne died Thursday July 9, 2026. He was born in Murfreesboro and lived most of his life in La Vergne. Micheal was preceded in death by his father, Mack Melton; nephew, Nathan Melton
He was a lifelong fan of Nascar and was a devoted friend, and brother.
Michael is survived by his mother, Jo Helen Melton Hayes; siblings, Bobby Melton and wife Beth, Donnie Melton, Diane Lanius and husband Mike; Nephew, Daiman Melton; Niece Tiffany Bennett and husband Tim; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday July 13th 10:00AM until 12 Noon at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service July 13th 12Noon at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. www.woodfinchapel.com
